We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our property portfolio. You’ll be responsible for managing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems, ensuring compliance, quality standards, and smooth day-to-day operations. Working closely with Property Managers, you’ll play a vital role in supporting tenants, maintaining assets, and driving service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Repairs – Manage routine and preventative maintenance of electrical, fire, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.

Compliance & Safety – Ensure all Health & Safety standards, building regulations, and compliance records are up to date and adhered to.

Risk Management – Identify and address material risks relating to perimeter security, CCTV, fire safety, and structural integrity.

Contractor & Project Management – Oversee subcontractors, coordinate projects, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

Operational Efficiency – Maintain accurate maintenance schedules, service records, and job card systems across the portfolio.

Financial Control – Assist with budgeting, manage cost controls, and authorise R&M quotes and invoices within approved levels.

Tenant & Client Services – Deliver excellent facilities support to Property Management and tenants, responding to maintenance issues promptly.

Reporting – Provide weekly building inspection reports, update records, and ensure timely communication with management.

Emergency Response – Act as standby contact for critical maintenance issues, including after-hours response.

Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to enhance FM processes, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities management or building maintenance (retail/commercial environment preferred)

Trade qualification or diploma in mechanical/electrical/building services (advantageous)

Strong technical knowledge of MEP, HVAC, and building systems

Proven track record in contractor supervision and project management

Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards

Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost management

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and people management abilities
-
Proficient in MS Office; exposure to facilities management software an advantage

Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, and remain responsive under pressure
