Job Purpose
The Sales Intern will support the sales team in generating leads, managing client relationships, and assisting with sales operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, while developing skills in communication, negotiation, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Assist in identifying and researching potential customers.

  • Update and maintain the CRM system with accurate lead information.

  • Support outreach activities via calls, emails, and social media.

2. Sales Support & Administration

  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.

  • Assist with follow-ups on pending quotations and proposals.

  • Maintain and organise sales documentation.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Support the sales team in managing and nurturing client relationships.

  • Respond to client queries and direct them to relevant team members.

  • Gather feedback from clients to improve products and services.

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Assist in compiling weekly and monthly sales reports.

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and highlight trends.

  • Provide insights on lead quality and conversion rates.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

  • Good organisational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.

  • Enthusiasm for learning and achieving sales targets.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Prior internship, part-time sales, or customer service experience is advantageous but not required.

Additional Information

  • This is a learning role with mentorship and exposure to the end-to-end sales cycle.

  • The intern is expected to maintain professionalism and adhere to company policies.

  • Some travel or after-hours work may be required for client meetings or events.
