Job Purpose
The HR Intern will provide support to the Human Resources department in day-to-day administrative and HR-related functions. This role offers exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance, providing valuable hands-on experience in a professional HR environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding Support

  • Assist in posting job adverts on various platforms.

  • Screen CVs and schedule interviews.

  • Support onboarding processes by preparing documentation and induction materials.

2. Employee Records & Administration

  • Maintain and update employee files and HR databases.

  • Assist with drafting letters, contracts, and other HR documents.

  • Support the preparation of monthly HR reports.

3. Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Assist in organising staff events, wellness activities, and training sessions.

  • Help circulate internal communication to staff.

  • Gather feedback from employees for HR improvement initiatives.

4. Compliance & Policy Support

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.

  • Help with updating and distributing HR policies.

  • Support record-keeping for audits and legislative requirements.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and labour legislation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.

  • Prior internship or volunteer HR experience will be advantageous but not required.
