Summary

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role will be instrumental in supporting our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and secure, efficient deployment of .NET-based applications and containerized workloads. The ideal candidate will have experience managing Microsoft SQL Server environments as part of DevOps workflows and will work closely with developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams.

 

What to expect:

  • Design, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD across .NET and containerized applications.
  • Maintain and migrate legacy pipelines from Octopus and Team City. 
  • Implement automation for database deployment, versioning, and schema migration (e.g., using SQL Server Data Tools, Flyway, or similar).
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of application and database deployment processes.
  • Manage and monitor Microsoft SQL Server environments, including backups, integrity checks, performance tuning, and deployment of schema/data changes across environments.
  • Support deployment and configuration of Linux-based containerized applications (e.g., Docker, NGINX) on non-Windows servers.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) .
  • Build and maintain observability into pipelines, deployments, and production systems (e.g., logging, alerting, monitoring).
  • Maintain secure access controls, credentials, and secrets across environments.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity planning related to application and data infrastructure

What you'll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML-based preferred)
  • Experience managing Microsoft SQL Server in a CI/CD context (schema migrations, automation, performance monitoring)
  • Familiarity with .NET Core/Framework application deployment processes
  • Experience with Docker, container orchestration, and Linux-based environments (including NGINX)
  • Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
  • Experience with Git, branching strategies, and version control best practices
  • Understanding of secure DevOps practices (secrets management, least privilege, role-based access)
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, or Logstash)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools
  • Experience with database DevOps tools like Redgate
  • Knowledge of networking and security best practices in private cloud and on-prem deployments
  • Exposure to Agile and DevSecOps environments
  • AIOps – Managing and local LLMs and AI Agents
