Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric) with a one-year course focused on administration.
- A strong interest in starting a career in the insurance industry.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Underwriting and Administrative Support:
- Assist in issuing new policies, renewals, and endorsements under the guidance of experienced underwriters.
- Help prepare new business quotes and ensure that all related documentation is processed accurately.
- Support the team in adhering to underwriting standards, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in routine administrative tasks, including saving and managing documents electronically.
- Respond to customer queries and requests, ensuring all interactions are documented and followed up.
Client Interaction and Service Delivery:
- Assist in maintaining high service quality by supporting the resolution of customer queries and complaints.
- Help in negotiating renewal terms and preparing the necessary documentation.
- Develop an understanding of the operational processes to contribute to achieving service delivery goals.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure timely and accurate client service.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with experienced underwriters to ensure service levels are met.
- Learn from team members and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Assist in transferring knowledge and skills gained during the internship to colleagues.
Continuous Learning and Improvement:
- Adhere to company policies, practices, and procedures while identifying areas for personal and team improvement.
