Stock Controller/Administrator (Automotive Dealership)– POS25192

Based: Meadowdale

Salary: R8000 – R10 000 pm

Role Summary

The Stock Controller is responsible for the accurate recording, tracking, and reconciliation of all vehicle inventory across the dealership. This includes managing the flow of new and used vehicles, coordinating documentation and registration, and ensuring all vehicles are correctly prepared for sale or delivery. The Stock Controller plays a critical role in supporting efficient dealership operations, maintaining compliance with internal policies and OEM standards, and ensuring the accuracy of all vehicle-related records. This position works closely with sales, admin, and workshop teams to streamline processes and contribute to a seamless customer experience.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in a stock control role within an automotive dealership environment.
  • Thorough understanding of automotive stock control processes, including licensing and registration procedures.
  • Proficient in dealer management systems (e.g., Kerridge/CDK or similar platforms).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
  • Exposure to multi-brand dealership operations (advantageous).
  • Familiarity with used vehicle stock control (added advantage).
  • Demonstrates high integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Proactive, reliable, and self-motivated with a solutions-driven mindset.
  • Well-disciplined with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
