Hotel Porter

Job Duties:

• Greeting guests upon arrival and assisting with their luggage
• Escorting guests to their rooms and providing information about hotel facilities
• Assisting guests with any queries or requests during their stay
• Ensuring the lobby and entrance areas are kept clean and tidy
• Assisting with valet parking services for guests
• Handling deliveries and packages for hotel guests

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy luggage

Education:

No formal education required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Experience:

Prior experience in a customer service role is advantageous

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of hotel facilities and local area attractions
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills for logging guest information

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a hotel porter or in a similar role
• Certification in hospitality or tourism management

Working Conditions:
