About the Role:

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, patient records, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience at the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients professionally and courteously
• Manage patient appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling efficiently
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and databases
• Answer phones, respond to patient enquiries, and provide clear communication
• Coordinate with clinical staff to support daily operations
• Handle billing, payments, and basic administrative tasks as required
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar administrative role in healthcare
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in appointment scheduling software and MS Office
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a busy, patient-focused environment
• Professional and friendly demeanour
• Flexibility to work permanent or locum shifts as needed
