Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job adverts, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.

  • Prepare employment contracts, onboarding documents, and orientation schedules for new hires.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

  • Support payroll processing by collecting and submitting relevant employee information.

  • Assist with leave management, disciplinary documentation, and performance review coordination.

  • Respond to internal and external HR-related queries or requests.

  • Support training and development initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and South African labour legislation.

Skills:

  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with HR systems or databases will be advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Matric certificate is required.

  • A diploma or certificate in Human Resource Management or a related field is preferred.

  • At least 1 year of HR administration or office support experience is advantageous.
