Core Purpose

The core purpose of this role is to develop and deliver impactful, compelling, compliant, and engaging content that informs, supports, and connects with Medihelp’s members. The ideal candidate will create member-focused communication that enhances engagement and understanding across all touchpoints by crafting clear, accessible, and personalised content for both print and digital platforms – from guides and newsletters to WhatsApp, social media, and video.

Requirements

A relevant three year tertiary qualification.

Four years of experience in communication, public relations, journalism, or content creation.

Proven experience creating both written and video-based content.

Experience writing for digital channels, particularly WhatsApp or other messaging platforms,

Must have a valid driving license.

Key Competencies

Strong grasp of empathetic and user-centered writing principles.

Ability to simplify complex healthcare concepts for general audience.

Excellent command of English and Afrikaans.

Basic understanding of AI content tools.

Analytical mindset, ability to use insight to guide content decisions
