We seek a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter will be critical in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet our client's needs. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, excellent communication and administrative skills, and a strong understanding of the recruitment process.
Responsibilities
- Job Posting: Create compelling and accurate job postings to attract qualified candidates.
- Talent Acquisition: Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job portals, social media, networking events, headhunting, and employee referrals.
- Screening Candidates: Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Onboarding: Manage the documentation process by ensuring all necessary documents are signed and filed appropriately, and all relevant checks are done.
- Candidate Experience: Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
- Employer Branding: Promote the company's recruitment brand through various channels and initiatives.
- Database Management: Maintain and update the database with accurate candidate information and status updates.
- Reporting: Generate recruitment metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices comply with relevant labour laws and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best recruitment practices and continuously seek ways to improve the recruitment process.
- Education: Human Resources Management or any Bachelor's degree in a related field would be advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Skills: Strong understanding of the recruitment process and best practices.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Administrative Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in managing schedules, coordinating interviews, and maintaining accurate records.
- Technology: Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
