We are recruiting for 2x Intermediate Test Engineers for a Project - START Date 1st August 2025 This is a 1 year contract and hybrid based role, candidates must be based in Cape Town
Need x2 Intermediate Test Engineers in CPMMA (Appian) project: Key Responsibilities • Create test plan, test cases, test executions and test reports in Atlassian JIRA. • Design and implement scalable, maintainable automated test frameworks. • Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium with Java or similar. • Create and manage test environment. • Collaborate with QA analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines. • Analyse test results, identify root causes, and log defects in Atlassian JIRA. • Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing as part of software release cycles. • Participate in test case reviews, and Agile ceremonies. • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and techniques to increase test reliability and coverage.
Required Skills • Appian experience desirable. • ISTQB certified tester. • Experience with Agile methodologies and principles. • Knowledge on Atlassian tools. • Knowledge on AWS cloud. • Knowledge in both manual and automation testing. • Strong scripting, programming experience.
