Job Purpose As an Engineering Graduate, you will be an integral part of the engineering team at our plants. You will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world industrial challenges, support plant operations, and help drive improvements in equipment reliability, performance, and efficiency. Key Accountabilities and Outputs - Support the operation, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical and electrical systems in the plant. - Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new mechanical and electrical equipment and machinery. - Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth plant operations. - Collaborate with senior engineers on project-based work, including plant upgrades, efficiency enhancements, and safety initiatives. - Analyze data and assist in the development of reports for performance analysis and process optimization. - Contribute to the development and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules. - Participate in continuous improvement efforts and contribute ideas to enhance plant processes, reduce downtime, and improve productivity. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all aspects of plant operations. Qualifications and Experience - Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (BENG). - Strong theoretical knowledge in mechanical design, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes. - Hands-on experience (internships, projects, etc.) in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage. - A strong interest in plant engineering, process optimization, and maintenance activities. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. - A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. - Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
