Our client is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team in Cape Town. This role requires a proactive and resilient individual with a solid background in manufacturing and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives

  • Drive talent management initiatives including succession planning, performance management, and employee development

  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation and internal HR policies

  • Support and guide management on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes

  • Lead and implement HR projects and change initiatives

  • Provide accurate HR reporting and analytics to support decision-making

  • Collaborate with the broader HR team to drive consistency and operational excellence

Key Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proven ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization

  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic, high-pressure environment

  • 6–8 years’ experience in a similar HR Business Partner role

  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment (non-negotiable)

  • Solid understanding of South African labour laws and HR best practices

  • The candidate must reside within 25km of Montague Gardens

  • Clear employment history with explanations for any gaps and reasons for leaving previous roles

Qualifications

  • Relevant HR or Industrial Psychology degree/diploma
