Job Title: OHS Facilitator & Assessor

Job Duties:

• Facilitate Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training sessions (First Aid, Basic Firefighting, Working at Heights, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, etc.)
• Assess and evaluate OHS competencies of individuals
• Develop and update OHS training materials and resources
• Provide guidance and support to individuals in improving OHS practises
• Ensure compliance with OHS regulations and standards

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant certification in Occupational Health and Safety
• Accredited as a Facilitator / Assessor
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (will be advantageous) 
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating training sessions
• Strong knowledge of OHS regulations and best practises

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in OHS training and assessment

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Working Conditions:

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The work environment may include training facilities, construction sites, and educational institutions. Some travel may be required within the specified location.
