We are a boutique gelato company based in Cape Town, known for our handcrafted, artisanal flavours and commitment to quality. As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Retail Assistant to help maintain high operational standards across our locations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Rotate between various store locations to fill in for staff shortages and support operations.
• Assist with staff training and ensure adherence to company procedures and service standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in stores.
• Support store management in daily retail operations.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a food or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.
• Own reliable transport is essential.
• Flexibility to travel between multiple store locations.
• Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
• High standards of professionalism, reliability, and initiative.
