MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- Provides Planning and Asset Care support to the plant's Production, Manufacturing and Engineering teams
- Coordinates and schedules outstanding works orders and notifications on a weekly basis
- Plans and schedules plant outages
- Contributes to the optimisation of maintenance strategy
- Runs planning management KPI reports and circulates
- Tracks project performance against goals and addresses deviations
- Provides SAP PM services and duties for all SAP business model transactions
- Provides training to personnel on RCA and SAP business process
- Runs cost estimates, staffing plans and schedules
- Registration of new equipment, BOMs, and asset disposals
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Degree or Diploma in Planning, or alternatively, have an equivalent combination of knowledge and several years' experience of planning
- Qualified artisan and at least 5 years’ experience in a senior maintenance role (advantageous)
- FMCG factory planning experience will be advantageous
- Demonstrable knowledge of the planning system and basic planning legislation, especially that relating to development management is essential.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written (English) self-motivated and able to work independently – as well as in a multidisciplinary team.
