Job location : Johannesburg (Hybrid ( 1-2 days a week onsite), Individual Contributor, (Vendor role) Vendor Manager : Marketing Lead for Africa based in Johannesburg. As a Field Marketing Specialist in Africa, you will support the execution of targeted marketing programs designed to increase awareness, generate leads, and support sales efforts across strategic accounts in the region. Working closely with the local direct sales team and cross-functional partners, you will assist in delivering high-impact campaigns and events that drive pipeline and customer engagement. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, passionate about marketing execution, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What Makes This Role Unique:
Responsibilities: ● Support the planning implementation and tracking of marketing campaigns targeting private and public sector organizations across Africa. ● Collaborate with sales and partner teams to generate Qualified Sales Opportunities (QSOs) and build a healthy pipeline for the Named Account List. ● Assist in coordinating field events, digital initiatives, and account-based marketing programs. ● Monitor campaign performance, track results, and compile performance reports. ● Localize and adapt regional and global campaigns based on customer and market insights. ● Help improve clients Cloud’s visibility and perception among decision-makers and influencers in the region. ● Work cross-functionally with global and regional teams to ensure campaign assets and messaging are consistent and localized appropriately.
Minimum Qualifications (MQs): You must meet these minimum qualifications to apply for this job: A bachelor's degree: Preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. - Minimum 4 years of experience in field marketing, campaign execution, or events within the tech or B2B space. - Strong project management skills and attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience working with sales teams and a good understanding of the sales funnel and lead generation. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a remote team environment. - Passion for technology, innovation, and African business and culture.
