Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Mpumalanga, Nkangala District, Kriel

Job Type: 6 monthContract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
• Conduct cost analysis and estimates for mining projects
• Manage project budgets and track costs throughout the project lifecycle
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
• Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders

Education:

• Bachelor of Science: Honours in Quantity Surveying

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in relevant software applications such as MS Excel and quantity surveying tools
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
