Our client is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their Cape Town team. You will be responsible for supporting the National Sales Manager: Consumer Division, as well as all consumer Sales staff by providing administrative support and to perform order processing by capturing sales orders on the Syspro system.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize QlikView to generate daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports as required.

  • Prepare customer reports, comparative sales reports, and agent reports.

  • Do data extraction from QlikView for compilation of graphs, charts, sales analysis.

  • Receive and process sales orders timeously.

  • Follow up on back orders.

  • Liaise with customers re any queries.

  • Create Presentations and flyers.

  • Compile Sales information for customer reviews, conference presentations, price increase negotiations, and trade reviews.

  • Prepare artwork, graphics, and put together flyers, and advertising sheets for trade.

  • Draft all correspondence to customers &, suppliers etc.

  • Schedule reservations of airlines, hotel accommodation, car hire etc.

  • Control the use of the vehicle and maintain an accurate register of usage.

  • Process leave transactions for department on ESS.

  • Maintain monthly attendance register and submit to HR department.

  • Set up meetings and prepare venues, refreshments, handouts etc.

  • Assist sales staff with customer packs & gifts preparation.

Qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business Management or related field.

  • 3-5 years working knowledge of a production administrative environment.

  • Experience with Syspro advantageous.

  • Experience in a global multinational company will be beneficial.
