Our Client a global tech firm is seeking a Content Designer to join their team in Johannesburg (Remote) on a contract basis.

Looking for a Content Designer who is confident in the principles of Content Design, used to working with and utilizing data from User Researchers and Analysts, someone who is customer-centric, and who understand how to work with Product designers to build or optimize customer journeys to meet business and user needs.

This particular role will sit across on of our Service Pattern squad (designing reusable, consistent components for use across the business) and our Flex squad, working on user journeys the support users purchase of services or products utilizing EEs financing proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Design content that meets user needs and is optimized for our digital products
  • Work in a multidisciplinary, agile team to develop the end-to-end user experience
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure our content is evidence-based, user-centered and continually optimized
  • Use discovery and user research methods to identify pain points and user needs.
  • Take responsibility for legal and regulatory governance and compliance of your content.
  • Build, edit and publish content in our CMS platforms
  • Be a design team representative and ensure and advocate a user-centered approach to all the content you create.

Experience

  • Proven 8 years experience in user-centred content creation and strategy
  • Ability to map customer journeys and use insights to identify pain points and user needs
  • Experience working with agile, multi-disciplined teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of content publishing processes and various content management systems
  • Experience in using data and insights to inform decisions and improve content
  • Knowledge or experience in designing for inclusivity and accessibility
