Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality assurance function within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that products consistently meet high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement quality inspection and evaluation frameworks for products and production equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with industry and internal quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Track production workflows to verify quality at each stage and identify issues early.

  • Perform detailed inspections and eliminate sub-standard products, investigating root causes.

  • Lead and manage the quality team, including training and coaching of production line staff.

  • Manage quality audits, calibration sessions, and ensure consistent practices are followed.

  • Compile and distribute regular quality reports and analyses for management.

  • Drive technical quality solutions and provide performance insights to operations.

  • Collaborate with operations to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures and documentation for quality processes.

  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans is essential.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in driving process change and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.

  • Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
