Job Title: Senior Project Planner

Job Duties:

• Timely and accurate update of the current project schedule, analysis of schedule variance, and preparation of written recovery plans listing the actions required to bring the item/component of work back into compliance with the approved baseline schedule.
• Preparing complex engineering and construction schedules for project proposals and projects in process; maintaining complex schedules on a current basis.
• Preparing reports to management regarding project scheduling activities and ensuring the maintenance of all other essential records and reports.
• Maintaining liaison with project management regarding scheduling activities.
• Assigning and reviewing work of subordinate scheduling staff.
• Initiating or preparing reports to management regarding project scheduling Working closely with project management to improve performance in project planning and execution

Required Qualifications:

• Project Management with Primavera P6 (required)
• A university degree in engineering or technical diploma plus 6+ years related project controls experience on major EPC project (Desired / Not Required).
• Extensive technical and leadership training and project related seminars (Desired / Not Required).
• Certification by PMI (PMP) and/or AACE or similar accredited project management institute (Desired / Not Required).

Experience:

Eight plus (8+) years of progressive experience to include a minimum of five (5) years extensive

experience in project planning and scheduling, earned value & risk analysis, performance

measurement, and milestones & project auditing.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in primavera p6 software
• Understanding of engineering principles and processes
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
