Our client is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join their team. You will be maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System, planning of maintenance activities and review and report on monthly maintenance efficiency.
Responsibilities:

Be responsible for the overall planning of maintenance.

Maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
-
Provide assistance to maintenance and operations managers with planning and progress measurement of maintenance of the assets.
-
Review and assess emergency and preventative maintenance activities for continuous improvement and to ensure efficient maintenance staff allocation, stock keeping of spares and minimise downtime.

Assist the Maintenance Engineer with the planning and execution of projects,
-
Keep track of maintenance cost per area/equipment.
-
Maintain the asset register.

Maintain CMMS with regards to : Asset registers, datasheets, task lists, etc.

Assist the Maintenance Engineer with the annual review of the preventative maintenance strategy.

Manage and issue work orders.

Generate weekly KPI reports (Artisan Utilization, Planned vs unplanned maintenance, Planned Maintenance Completion, etc.)

Generate monthly reports for client indicating all the maintenance completed per plant/area.

Compile a quarterly maintenance cost report for all areas.

Raising of purchase order requisitions and follow up with the procurement departrment.

Generate jobcards from job requests and issue to the responsible person/Company.

Work closely with procurement to expedite procurement required for work orders and ensure sufficient spares in store.

Assist with setting up procurement plans.
Skills:
-
Computer literacy in Google workspace tools & experience with cloud computing, such as docusign, etc.

Verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
-
National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (NQF Level 6)

Experience on CMMS software – SAP, PLANTMAN,E-WORKS or similar
-
Five years practical experience in water or heavy industry with direct involvement with operation and maintenance plant equipment
