Our client located in Grand Baie, Mauritius is seeking a Brand Promoter to join their growing team to promote Eva-Last products and brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop customer base by introducing all Eva-Last products and brands through decking and thatching contractors, general contractors, building contractors, homeowners, specifiers, Architects, designers, property managers, multi-family builders, Lodges, resorts, dealers, and renovators.

  • Follow-up with customers to advance them through the sales process.

  • Research and prospect for potential new customers.

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the Eva-last products and systems (technical and application).

  • Actively make appointments and ensure customer engagements.

  • Utilize specialized knowledge and experience to assist customers with issues such as product selection, pricing, availability, and refunds/exchanges.

  • Accurately quantify materials and generate sales quotations timeously.

  • Actively engages in SOLELY selling Eva-last building products and services.

  • Provides material take offs, estimates and pricing for various requirements and building projects (e.g., decks, balustrades, pergolas, cladding, TIER Flooring and structures).

  • Handle incoming phone calls, e-mails from customers, and provides requested information quickly and efficiently.

  • Investigate customer complaints or concerns.

  • Attend induction and training as required by Eva-last.

  • Respond promptly to all leads.

  • Properly qualify and convert into viable opportunities.

  • Stay abreast of all technical data pertaining to industry products, material, and equipment.

  • Attend relevant trade shows, meetings, seminars, and conferences as required.

  • Foster an environment of open communication.

  • Coordinate projects anticipate customer needs, planning, ordering, and issue resolution.

  • Provide weekly feedback report and activity list to in-country Dealer.

General Duties:

  • Follow all companies’ policies and procedures.

  • Perform any other tasks as requested by management.

Skills:

  • Willingness to learn by developing a working knowledge of company products, procedures, systems, and practices, willingness to grow with the company.

  • Detail oriented.

  • A proactive attitude. Maintain a high work ethic with a can-do attitude, makes a difference.

  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.

  • Technical understanding and experience in the building and construction industry.

Qualifications:

  • 4-years’+ experience Technical sales within the building and construction industry.

  • Strong numerical ability.

  • Drivers license, and willingness to drive to client sites across Mauritius

  • Higher School Certificate (HSC).
