The Sales Executive will hold the responsibility for development of top line revenue for andBeyond’s South A merica Lodges and vessels. The focus will be on sales through Inbound and Retail channels to sell and promote our South American lodges & vessels. The sales executive reports into the Inbound Sales Manager and will work closely with the reservations team towards the ultimate goal of generating bed nights and revenues into the lodges and cruises within a narrowly defined operating framework.

  

KEY OUTPUTS:

Understanding and full utilization of travel sales network

The Sales Executive will require an understanding of the travel sales network and the role the inbound market plays in a multi-channel business, including but not limited to:

  • Understand the complex relationships and buying patterns.
  • Create and Implement sales plans to generate revenue and bed nights into the lodges within a narrowly defined operating framework;
  • Identify prospective clients in the geographies of focus (Peru & Ecuador), with the ability to network with and develop these relationships where clients operate in andBeyond’s targeted international markets;  Represent the brand at a consultant and business level

Revenue Generation and Strategic Responsibilities

  • Sales development
  • Sales/Brand Representation 
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the marketing drivers that drive revenue 
  •  Creating and conducting presentations 
  • Conducting appropriate follow-up

 

Finance

  • Achieve assigned revenue targets

 

Responsibilities

  • Input and execute the sales plan in Peru & Ecuador for inbound and local agencies;
  • Search for appropriate and pre-agreed sales leads and prospects;

Assist in the development of marketing plans as needed  

  • Effectively communicate and follow up with South America reservations team members
  • Provide timely feedback to South America Reservations team
  • Work within the broader &Beyond sales CRM system
  • Generate monthly reports in line with central reporting standards, timeframes and guidelines

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Sales and luxury tourism product experience preferred
  • Willingness to work in a global team of professionals
  • Experience established contacts with DMCs.
  • Have worked in the position before.
  • Good knowledge of Galapagos and Amazonia in Peru.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years relevant experience/ Diploma
