Our client, located in Cape Town, is seeking a Development Coordinator to join their team. The Development Coordinator will support the Development Lead by overseeing new store builds, remodel projects, and maintenance operations. This role requires strong project management skills, a proactive approach to maintenance, and the ability to manage budgets, permits, and contractor coordination.
Responsibilities:

Manage the New Store Builds and Remodels team, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategies.

Coordinate project timelines, budgets, permits, and contractor relationships.

Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Oversee HVAC systems, building maintenance schedules, and ensure timely and proactive repairs.

Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure facility efficiency.

Address maintenance issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.

Monitor energy consumption and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and sustainability.
