Our Client a global tech firm is seeking a CCIE network engineer to join their team in Johannesburg (Hybrid) on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rates and a great working environment.

CCIE network engineer with the following competencies:

•          Routing and Switching: Mastery of various routing protocols, switching technologies, and network infrastructure is crucial. This includes a deep understanding of protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and the ability to configure and manage complex switching environments

•          Software-Defined Networking (SDN): Ability to design, deploy, and manage software-defined networks.

•          Network Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in automating network tasks.

•          Quality of Service (QoS): Capability to configure and manage network traffic prioritization.

•          Multicast and VPN Technologies: Proficiency in multicast routing and VPN technologies for secure communication. This includes configuring and managing multicast protocols like PIM and IGMP, as well as implementing various VPN solutions such as IPsec, SSL, and MPLS VPNs.

•          Cloud Integration and Hybrid Networks: Knowledge of integrating network infrastructure with cloud environments. This involves understanding cloud networking concepts, hybrid cloud architectures, and the ability to design and manage networks that span on-premises and cloud environments

•          Network Infrastructure Design:  The ability to plan, design, and deploy complex network infrastructures is a key skill. This includes creating scalable and resilient network architectures, selecting appropriate hardware and software solutions, and ensuring that the network meets organizational requirements

•          Troubleshooting: Expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.

•          Data Center Technologies: .Skills in designing, deploying, and managing data centre network infrastructure are critical. This includes understanding data centre architectures, working with technologies such as VLANs, VxLANs, and fabric extenders, and ensuring high availability and scalability of data centre networks.
