We are looking for 2 Senior Commercial Architects to help us grow our footprint.

Permanent positions, based in Centurion - Hybrid working model

This role demands an individual with a proven track record in Sales. The Sales candidate must have at least experience 8+ years sales in the following areas:

  • Cloud technologies (AWS & Azure), multi-cloud strategies,
  • Cybersecurity solutions,
  • Managed Services, Soc solutions

The candidate must have the ability to confidently engage with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities focused on Cybersecurity solutions and look for new customer prospects in all the area's mentioned above
  • Leverage any existing network of clients or contacts to rapidly build a qualified sales pipeline
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with enterprise clients, including C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and security/ Infrastructure leaders.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand client requirements and deliver tailored multi-cloud and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Drive account growth through cross-selling, upselling, and renewal negotiations.
  • Lead client engagements, from initial contact through proposal development, pitch presentations, and contract finalization.
  • Work closely with Product Vendors & Partners, Distributors, and Internal Teams to unlock funding and solution opportunities.
  • Monitor market and technology trends to position offerings competitively and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, conferences, and networking sessions to boost brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Use the CRM System and sales tools to capture all leads, opportunities and tenders to maintain accurate forecasts, sales pipeline status, and customer engagement records.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for designated enterprise accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and ensure client environments are secure and scalable.
  • The Commercial Architect must play a role to facilitate the signing, drafting of all relevant company documents.
  • The Commercial Architect must ensure that all contracts, onboarding documents and proposals are signed and given to the relevant teams to use as needed.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, Information Security, Cloud Solutions or any domain in the above-mentioned areas.
  • Strong sales and business development experience in Cyber Security or any Cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Experience in Managed Services will be advantages.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-wide cloud transformation and security programs/projects discussions with customers.
  • Proven experience engaging and influencing senior management and C-level clients.
  • Strong understanding of cloud, security, architectural principles, and industry security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity solution design, threat mitigation strategies, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills – both technical and business-focused.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and in fast-paced environments.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, CISSP, CISM, or similar Cyber Security Solutions) are highly advantageous.
