About the Role

To ensure the availability of a fully functional Automated Teller Machine (ATM) service to customers including the custody and balancing of ATM cash, processing of ATM deposits and

handling of the ATM computer reports. Understand and manage the risks associated with the custody of ATMs through an effective system of controls, as well as maintain a high level of

integrity and ethical standards.

Your Key Responsibilities will Include:

ATM Operations & Maintenance
• Stocking: Keep ATM terminals fully stocked.
• Upkeep: Identify technical faults early and liaise with the control centre for prompt repairs.

Cash Handling & Replenishment
• Securing: Control, seal, and safeguard cash against loss at all times.
• Balancing: Top up cash intervals, log accurate system data, and collect receipts.
• Reporting: Escalate service disruptions or system status changes immediately.

Deposits & Reconciliations
• Processing: Clear cash deposits quickly and ensure secure delivery to the cash centre.
• Compliance: Reconcile ATM cash daily and hand over irregular deposits for scrutiny.
• Reporting: Action daily duty-list reports and manage terminal documentation.

Firearms Compliance
• Safety: Adhere strictly to company firearm and ammunition regulations.
• Readiness: Maintain firearms in a serviceable condition and complete annual training.

Health and Safety

Safety Culture: Maintain a "Safety First" approach to protect the crew, assets, and public, while participating in safety forums and training programs. 

Requirements

● Matric (with Mathematics)

● At least 2 years of experience operating and maintaining ATMs 

● ATM Custodian course certification

● PSIRA Grade C Certificate 

● Cash In Transit Certification

● SAPS Firearm Competency for Handgun Certificate

● Statement of Results report from Professional Firearms Trainers Council (PFTC) or Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) for Firearm with Business purposes

● Clear criminal record, clear credit record, and no history of previous employment dismissal.

● May not be a registered as a director of any company / business
